Under-eye bags are one of the most common problems when you are aging. It can also occur due to stress, allergies, and lack of sleep. Mostly wrong habits in terms of diet that can lead to water retention can also cause this issue. Here are 10 ways to get rid of bags under your eyes –
Take two slices of a raw potato and refrigerate it for about four to five minutes. Now, close your eyes and circle (place) both the potato slices over the eyes. Make sure it covers the puffed areas properly. Keep the slices in this discipline for about 20 minutes. Open your eyes and see a change in the size of the bags. You will notice the bags are now smaller compared to what it was 20 minutes earlier. Do the same again next day and for few more days thereafter. The under-eye bags will vanish permanently.
Take cotton pads and chilled milk. Dip the cotton in milk and place it over your eyelids. Leave it for about half-an-hour with relaxing posture in armchair or bed. This process usually helps in water retention of your eyes. The process will even cool your eyes. Repeat the same next day and again couple of days thereafter for better result.
Use Vitamin E oil
This process is one of the most practiced to get rid of under-eye bags. Take chilled water and mix few drops of vitamin E oil in it properly. Now, dip cotton pads in it and place over your eyes for about twenty minutes. You will find great result after 20 minutes.
For years, people know cucumbers are good for our body. Remember, it is also very good for our eyes. It naturally helps in getting rid of under-eye bags. Just take two slices of cucumber and refrigerate it for about 4 to 5 minutes. After refrigeration, put the slices over your eyes for about half-an-hour. It is suggested to relax while doing so. Chilled Tea Bags
Chilled tea bags too work great in getting rid of under-eye bags. Take two tea bags and moisten it with cold water. After moistening refrigerate it for few minutes and then place it over your eyes for about half-an-hour. It is advised to relax while putting the tea bags on your eyes. You may better lie back. After 30 minutes wash your eyes with cold water and pat it dry with towel. You will feel very relaxed.
Use Iced Water
This is one of the best techniques for getting rid of under-eye bags fast. Take four stainless steel spoons and ice water. First chill two spoons in the glass of ice water and place them individually on your both eyes for few minutes. Meanwhile, put the other pair of spoons in the ice water glass to chill it. After about 5 minutes remove the spoon from your eyes and keep the next pair as before. Keep on switching the spoons in every 4 to 5 minutes for about half-an-hour and see the improvement. Take few egg whites and beat it stiffly. Once done, take a brush and apply the beaten egg whites around your eyes. This will make the under eye skin tighter and hence it will make it look less puffy. Green Tea Bags
Take two green tea bags. You may also use steeped chamomile. Chill those by refrigeration for few minutes after dipping in cold water. Put the bags over your eyes for about fifteen minutes and you will notice the puffiness of your eyes is gone.
Hydrate Your Body
This is to be practiced everyday. Make a good habit of drinking as much water as you can. This helps in hydrating your body. This also helps in reducing the puffiness of your eyes.
Use a Moisturizer
Use moisturizer cream or gel under your eyes. It will help in protecting your eyes throughout the day. It is best suggested to take aloe eye gel on a pinkie and dab it around your eyes gently. It will not bring back eye bags.
